help!...

ok, does anyone have either the phil and ted's double or bob revolution double jogger? please let me know what you like, don't like about it. i'm having the hardest time deciding.

i'm leaning towards the bob since i will need a jogger regardless, but is it too huge to bring around in your car at stores etc..?

or any suggestions on a good double? i've loved my maclaren in the past. but, again i'm not sure if i want to buy a double, and a double jogger? [sorry such a boring post..]

mini me...

ok, so remember this cute headband i made months back for me inspired by this ruby sue headband?

well, last week i finally got around to starting on some little girl things... [it's about time, since she's going to here soon..] and, i made a mini-me version for baby girl.

i know it may be a little over the top to have feathers and all on a baby headband. but, i couldn't resist being twiners. now, i just need a little head to put it on.

and, here's a few others i made. i made poppies using what i learn in this tutorial i purchased from foundling.
you make the poppies by burning/singeing fabric. it was kind of scary at first, i'll admit.. i kept lighting the darn thing on fire. but, after you get the hang of it, it's kind of fun!

i'm all on board for fun girl things to make. there are so many cute things to make for girls vs. boys. i always had the hardest time finding fun things to make for z man. and with baby girl, there are endless possibilities..

oh, and p.s. props to all you who make and sell headbands... it's super hard work, and i'm not sure how many times i burnt myself with the glue gun. i think i'll stick to making jewelry.

i'm all about putting anything on a skewer.
i've made these fruit kabobs before, way back when, and decided to make some again the other day instead of a boring old fruit tray.

they are super easy, just add your favorite fruits, or whatever you have on hand. perfect for the BBQ season!

indecisiveness...

i'm so bad about picking out things for baby girls new nursery. truth is, i have already bought her bedding and cute pillows to match. but then i see nursery's like this and i'm am again drawn to a simple room with some nice primary colors. [i'm obsessed with that rug] i'll admit, i'm still deathly afraid of pink. the bedding i picked out doesn't have too much pink. but, enough to scare me.

i really need to get deciding soon. i'm dragging my feet a little since the nursery can't really be done since we need to move z man out of it and into our office and move our office to the basement where the room is only 50% complete.. i should probably be more stressed, [and i am, ask the mr.] but, since i don't have everything finalized, i'm ok with pretending that it's ok if the nursery isn't ready when she makes her arrival in a month and a half.. or, i'll just keep telling myself that.

moab, utah... help!

hello!

i'll be spending a little time in moab, utah coming up and i just wanted to know if any of you have any recommendations on cool places to eat, shop etc... things to do with a two year old and you are over 7 months pregnant... that sort of thing.

i'm well aware it's not the dining/shopping capitol of the world, but any hidden gems would be nice! vintage shops what have you.

these little recycled rocker tees turned baby gowns are just darling.
i'm dying to make one. my little girly is in desperate need of some clothes, i'm afraid she'll be naked forever because i don't have too many girl things yet. i better get crackin' i have less than two months before her arrival.

i know you are all probably more than sick of hearing about the beehive 

bazaar.

just wanted to post a pic of my table set up.

last night was a huge success already. it was jammed packed in there. 

[a little too packed for

my comfort]  i weaved my preggo body all over the place bumping 

into everyone. but, it was good.  

it's nice to see all the support for local artists.

so, thanks to all who purchased jewelry from me already.

some of you came up to me and told me how much you like my jewelry, 

which was really sweet.  

so thanks!
