today, i'm sharing a great recipe for whole wheat waffles over on the zupas blog. they freeze well too! so, you can enjoy homemade waffles every morning!

my post is up for the zupas blog this week.
i made taco soup. a quick and easy dinner, and a great option to bring to your upcoming halloween parties.
my favorite part is after you brown the meat, you just throw everything in the slow cooker and forget about it.
check out the recipe here.

i am re-posting my mini-pumpkin wreath tutorial from a few years back, because i got a lot of inquiries from you about fall wreath ideas. i still need to get one together for this year... i haven't come up with any ideas yet, hopefully soon.
'til then.
this was a fun wreath i did a few years ago. and, yes. those are real mini-pumpkins.
here are the instructions:
supplies
mini pumpkins [enough fill your wreath]
wire wreath from craft store [found near flower supplies]
ribbon
hot glue gun/glue
directions
i basically just wrapped ribbon around the wire frame and glued in in place.
then, i hot glued each pumpkin one by one around it. tied a ribbon around the top to hang it from.
voila!

ok, forgive me for my dumb and dumber reference in my title. i just couldn't help myself. and, i'll admit, at one point in my life it was my favorite movie and i probably still know all the lines by heart.
...anyway.

isn't this orla kiely radio amazing?! i would love one!

i keep coming back to this room, i love the colors.
{designed by jessica helgerson via design sponge}

and, this boy's room from cooking mag is fun too!
i love the malm bed from ikea, and the price. i'm thinking of getting this for my little ezra. my only concern is the sharp corners. anyone have this bed? you like?
