I’ve been dreaming of warm, spring weather.  Where I am, it has been gorgeous one day and snowing the next.  Seems awfully cruel, Mother Nature!  To help get me in the mood for spring and to hopefully help a friend do the same, I came up with this little Spring In A Box kit.  Here’s all you need to send someone some spring:

– Potting Soil
– Ceramic Pot
– Seeds
– Gloves
– Label Stake
– Twine & Ribbon
– Cellophane Bag (not pictured)

This really took a few minutes and a few dollars!  Everything was found around my house or at the local dollar stores.  First, I poured some soil into a cellophane bag and tied it up with string.  Then I arranged all the items in the pot.  I also created a little card for my friend to label her plant.  She happens to have quite the plant collection and likes to name them, which I find charming.

Lastly, I used an old Anthropologie box I saved from Christmas (really the best little boxes to have around) and added some paper stuffing to help keep the gift from moving around.  I added a tag, a sticker (also found at the dollar store) and some twine to dress up the box.  And there you have it…a simple way to remind someone that spring is coming!

Thanks so much for having me Caroline!
