Sometimes it can be hard to find a moment to myself.  With the kids, life, work, all of the things,  taking a little time to relax is few and far between, unfortunately!

I have been making an effort to transform my master bathroom into a little retreat.  We had the walls painted a nice calming blue, and I love when I can get a moment to pamper myself in there!  The new Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day body wash has been the most amazing addition to my shower and bath routine.  They smell so amazing, and the scent lingers in the bathroom all day which I certainly don’t mind!  Even my husband has commented on it!

To be honest, I have been searching for a new body wash for a little while.  I was a little nervous to try something new, because my skin can be extra sensitive and react to new products.  But, I have been re-thinking my old body wash, and I knew that it was time to make a change.  I can’t even tell you how excited I am, because I am loving the new Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day body wash!  My skin has felt great, even softer and smoother than it has ever been!  I am so thrilled to finally have found a body wash that is made with essential oils, plant-derived ingredients, does not test on animals, and is made without artificial colors, ammonia, phthalates, chlorine bleach, parabens, phosphates, and gluten!

When I really want to relax, I love to get in the tub and take a nice long bath!  I love to turn the water up really warm, and add a little body wash into the water to get that nice smell going, and a few bubbles!  I am a sucker for anything Lavender, so my favorite is to add a little of the Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day body wash into the tub!  I am also loving the new Basil scent as well! I love to put some in a poof and lather up!  I also love to use it to shave my legs!

Lighting a candle always helps set the mood, and it helps me just relax and enjoy some alone time!  Another important step I love to do is exfoliate!  This really helps me to shed off any un-wanted dead skin, and helps my skin to feel amazing!

I also love to whip up a quick batch of Salt Scrub!  It takes no time at all to make a homemade batch!

Bath Time Skin Care Routine

After I get out of the bath or shower, it is so important for me to immediately re-hydrate with lotion!  This helps keep the moisture in my skin and keeps it from getting too dry!  Living in a dry climate like Utah it is a must!

As a busy mom, a little alone time in the bathroom does wonders!  Whether it is a long shower with some amazing smelling body wash, or a nice long soak in the tub!  It is a must to take some time to yourself to rejuvenate!
