Anyone else feel like they need a laundry intervention? Yep. Me too! As a busy mom of three, it always seems like it is a struggle to keep up on the laundry! Just when I have things figured out, we get really busy, or go out of town, and the laundry just piles up! This is where I’d insert the monkey covering his face emoji! The struggle is real! Or in my case, the laundry pile!
I’m partnering with Persil ProClean today to share with you a few of my laundry goals, and tips to help keep up on laundry. And, did you know you can find Persil ProClean at Target now? I’m loving their Sensitive Skin Power Liquid formula. My skin can be a little sensitive, so I typically try to buy the dye-free sensitive formulas for my kids as well. I’ve tried several dye-free, perfume-free sensitive skin detergent options, but they didn’t seem to get my clothes as clean, and my whites bright, but Persil ProClean has really done a great job on getting my clothes really clean, and stay bright (especially my workout clothes, ya know what I mean?).
I have a few laundry goals, and tips I wanted to share with you if you are feeling that laundry dread like I was. I’m hoping to keep implementing these into our home to help laundry time not be the worst time of the week anymore.

Living in Utah, my family has learned to embrace the cold winter months. We love the outdoors, and come hot or cold, it is always nice to get outside and enjoy family time!
We recently had our first big snowstorm here in Utah! As soon as the first big snowfall hits, our kids are chomping at the bit to get outside and play in the snow, and of course, build a snowman! I always love seeing how excited they are for the fresh fallen snow!
We successfully made our first family snowman of the year! He might be the cutest one yet, and the kids promptly named him “Frosty!” We came in from the frigid air, and warmed up with a nice warm bowl of cauliflower cheese soup, complete will all the fixings! We teamed up with Modern Atelier to capture our fun family time in this video, and it is something I will cherish in the years to come! I hope you enjoy it too!
One day my kids won’t look out the window with such excitement when they see that it has snowed, and one day they won’t be asking to build a snowman. So, I’m going to embrace, and hold onto these memories as long as I can of being together and enjoying that excitement that only comes with the optimistic eyes of children when they look at fresh patch of snow!
I’ve always hoped to create a warm cozy home that my kids can come home to and feel warm and safe. And, most of all feel joy and love here. I love moments like this where we can enjoy our time together, and make those lasting memories!
A favorite Family Tradition of ours is to have a Family Movie Night every Sunday night that we are available. It is a fun way for our family to be able to spend time together, laugh, have a fun treat, and a good time! We each get a turn to rotate what movie we all get to watch, and the kids just love having their own night to pick! My cute five year old Thomas is so into dogs right now. He might even spend more time on all fours, than upright these days! He even has asked Santa Claus for a dog bone for Christmas! So funny! He was so excited to chose The Secret Life of Pets (Now available on DVD and Blu-Ray!) for our Sunday night movie night choice!
The Secret Life of Pets is a cute comedy about the lives that pets lead when their humans leave for the day. It’s by the same humans that brought us Despicable Me, which we were huge fans of! The all-star voice cast includes Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet, Kevin Hart, Jenny Slate, Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Dana Carvey, Hannibal Buress, Bobby Moynihan, Steve Coogan and Albert Brooks. The new DVD and Blu-Ray release also features nearly an hour of bonus content, plus three mini-movies including: Norman Television and Weenie PLUS Mower Minions!
I love to put together fun treats to coordinate with the movie of the night! I made a movie party tray with some “Pup” corn, “Meat Sticks,” Secret Life of Pets fruit snacks, and some “Puppy Chow” with assorted snacks including graham cracker bones. I also decided to create some fun “Puppy Pops” inspired by the main character Max the dog!
