recipe: nectarine mozzarella salad with balsamic vinaigrette

Summer and salads go hand in hand for me.  I was at the market the other day, and they had nectarines on sale.  I bought several, and have been eating them like crazy ever since!  I have been eating them with everything, so I thought, why not on a salad.  They were amazing!
{Nectarine Mozzarella Salad with Balsamic Vinagrette}
Mixed Greens
Fresh Mozzarella, cut into bit-sized pieces
Nectarines, Sliced
Balsamic Vinagrette
{makes 1 1/2 cups}
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
3/4 cup olive oil
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/3-3/4 cup olive oil
Little fresh ground black pepper
Place all of the ingredients in a jar, and shake well.
Serve over salad.
Enjoy!

I am really into bringing natural elements into a party or an event!  These wooden planks are so much fun and can serve as a serving tray, decoration, or even use them to make table numbers at a wedding!

There are so many options to dress up wooden planks with a wood burning tool.

hd moment: chocolate factory tour

 As you know I’ve been working with Haagen Dazs on their Moments for me campaign.  They were nice enough to send me and my family to a real life chocolate factory.  Needless to say, my kids were in heaven.  Chocolate galore!

We gave ourselves a sugar coma, that is for sure!
We ended the tour with some ice cream, and loads of chocolate!
