i’ve used the no fail sugar cookie one and i have a recipe from the peggy porschen cookie bible (pretty party cakes) that I could email you if you’re interested. frosting i haven’t used that much yet but also check out the peggy porschen one. If i’m really quick i can decorate a few with fondant before my boys eat them.

I wish I were more help. I still use the Martha Stewart recipe, even though it’s a bit fussy. It tastes pretty good, so I end up going back to it time after time.

    These are beautiful!

I use this no-chill Sugar Cookie recipe because I hate waiting for the dough to chill, but it’s also the best tasting recipe that I’ve tried. I’ve had several friends ask for the recipe. It makes a TON of cookies so you could probably cut the recipe in half.

    No-Chill Sugar Cookies
    1 pound butter
    2 cups sugar
    3 eggs
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    6 – 7 cups of flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    3/4 teaspoon salt
Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Add dry ingredients. Roll out 1/4 inch thick and cut. Bake at 375 degrees until edges just start to get golden brown. Makes 8 or 9 dozen cookies and frost with buttercream frosting.
