:: so last month i was looking for some cute little beenies for my little dude, but i didn’t really want to spend $18 bucks a pop. so after seeing this, i thought i’d make a few beenies myself for the little dude out of old sweaters. [yes, i’m goin’ green!] i was so pleased with how they turned out and now my little guy has plenty of hats to keep his little head warm this winter.. and at the rate his head has been growing, i can whip him up one in a few minutes anytime. nice! ::

:: the one my little z man is wearing in the picture at the top i made from the neck of a turtle neck sweater. it fit perfect with a little room to grow! ::

I’m just as surprised as you are about these new cute baby bedding sets from Wal-Mart. They are quite cute and stylish. …. and.. only $79.97 for a 4-piece set. Crazy.

I wish this print was around when I sewed my own baby bedding from House, Inc. Fabric to avoid paying $350 just for the 3 piece set.

You can check out the baby bedding I sewed for my little guy here in case you missed it. or I’ll just post a picture below. I was pleased with how it turned out… but at $34.00 a yard.. it was still a little pricey. But with all the left over fabric I was able to make curtains, blanket and some other fun things like a lamp shade and fabric boards. .. and pillows.. still to come.. 🙂
