i finally got all of the invitations done for the big where the wild things are party.i ended up printing them on textured cardstock, and i was happy with how they turned out!i decided to tie the brown kraft envelopes with garden twine, i thought it would be a perfect “wild things” touch!i hand addressed them in a wild font, and got them all delivered! i think i may have gotten carpel tunnel, but it was worth it all in the end.i’ll post more party details as i finish them up!

adorable! i'm curious as to whether you had trouble with the postal service on the twine… in my experience, when i try to get creative it just doesn't work with the good ole' usps.
those are darling! love the twine…perfect little touch!
love the "wild font!" im going to be taking a calligraphy class starting next month, but this is looking like something i could just do without the "official" training

the twine makes it extra special, lovely idea!
Oh I just love all the attention to detail. Wish I could find the time to devote to this wild stuff! I am impressed.
You hand wrote those!?! I love them! I love this party theme. You have such an eye for detail. Sometimes I miss out on all the boy stuff.
so cute! are those handwritten?? or a font? either way, it looks perfect for the theme.
This is so much fun, I adore it. We are big on themes at our house too when it comes time for birthdays.
I'd love to know where you found the craft envelopes.
Nice, Caroline! I love it!
Love that tablecloth! Where is it from??
Hi, is there any way you could tell me what font you used for the invitations?
hi lovely little nest.
the table cloth is fabric from jo anns
penny andrew-
the font is called Kohicle25
compulsively compiled.
the envelopes are from a store called xpedx
ampersandity
the invites are a font (see above) and the envelopes were handwritten.
ashley maureen-
the twine on the envelopes probably wouldn't be ok for the post office. we hand delivered ours.
How exactly did you do the invitation? I am doing the theme for my daughter's 1st birthday and I LOVE the way you did it!
Hi chenelle
I made them using adobe illustrator.
