While on our Fall Break at the Four Seasons in Scottsdale, we got dressed up and headed out to dinner one night at Proof Canteen restaurant. I love dressing my kids in clothing I love, that is also good quality that I know will last. My kids can be rough on their clothing with how active they are, so quality kids clothing has always been important to me. I have always loved Janie and Jack clothing for my children, and I’m excited to partner with them on this post! They always have the cutest selection, and most importantly, it is such good quality!
We had a little time before dinner, and the kids just looked so darling that I had to snap a few photos of them. Thomas was obviously thrilled, whenever I take out the camera, he is the first to protest. No time to pause when you can party! Ha! (Read more for full outfit details!)
Ezra’s Janie and Jack Outfit: Wool Cap | White Polo Shirt | Sunglasses | Shoes | Socks | Plaid Shorts
Having three children, it has always been so interesting to me just how different they are. My oldest Ezra is the responsible one, obedient, and is a leader. An overall great kid! It has been so crazy for me to see him growing up so quickly. I mean he will be ten soon, ten! I love that he is still so sweet to me, and still wants to hold my hand.
Norah’s Janie and Jack Outfit: Dress | Wool Hat | Quilted Purse | Patent Bow Shoes
My Norah girl is so amazing. The only girl and middle child, she is strong, opinionated, has a lot of will, and won’t be told no for an answer. Truthfully, she is exactly like me at that age, except with curly hair, I’m still trying to figure out where that came from?! She loves girly things, and just about died when I surprised her with some accessories of her own! That little purse at hat on her! She was in heaven! I love that she is already into fashion like her mama!
Swimsuit | Terrycloth Coverup |Sunglasses
And, how cute is her swimming suit and cover-up for the pool? I wanted it in my size! Little girls clothing is just so fun!
Thomas’ Janie and Jack Outfit: Straw Hat | Oxford White Shirt | Striped Shorts | Sunglasses | Hunter Boots
And, my youngest Thomas. If you can’t tell is our little party animal! Such a ham! We have little saying about him that everyday is the best day of his life. Because, honestly it is. He is so carefree and fun-loving! This kid loves to have a good time! And, boy does he get away with a lot, but I just can’t help it! He’s one funny kid! And, he just LOVES to wear rain boots! Rain or shine, he loves to put on those things. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Janie and Jack sells Hunter Rain Boots!
I just love each of them, and looking at these pictures only reminds me that they are growing up so quickly. Part of the reason that I love to travel so much, and go on vacations together is that I love that un-interupted time of just being together as a family with just the five of us. Vacation time is sacred to me because I know that we can leave our worries and normal day to day tasks behind, and just be together exploring and experiencing new things. It really is my joy!
Dress from: Soel Boutique | Shoes: Sweedish Hasbeens
We fight, we make up, we have fun, we have tears, we have joy, we have sadness, we aren’t perfect, far far from it, be in the end we love each other, we keep trying, and that is all that matters to me. This family of mine they are everything to me, and I love to be able to spend some much needed time together on our trips to be able to experiences all of those new memories we are making together! I am so grateful to be able to move along this journey of life learning day to day so many things from them. I just so glad we are all in this together! I’ll leave you with a favorite quote of mine that sums up exactly how I feel!
“The Joy we feel has little to do with the circumstances of our lives, and everything to do with the Focus of our lives” -Russel M. Nelson
