Family Friendly Santa Barbara Luxury Hotels

Family Friendly Santa Barbara Luxury HotelsWe recently returned from a Family Vacation to California, and we were able to start out in Coronado (more on that to come!), and ended up in the cute beach town of Santa Barbara.  This was our first time in Santa Barbara, and boy was it amazing!  The Spanish architecture, the beautiful coastline.  It truly is like the Mediterranean of California!  We instantly fell in love!

Staying at the Four Seasons Resort the Biltmore in Santa Barbara was such a treat!  The hotel grounds were unlike anything I have ever seen before!  So stunning with all of the amazing foliage and Spanish tiles and details.  We had a great time exploring the property, and of course the kids enjoyed the pool, and Butterfly beach, that was only steps away from the Resort!  Be sure to continue reading for all of my 5 reasons to stay Beachside on your next Coastal Vacation!

Glamping Resort at Bear Lake Utah

View of Bear Lake at Conestoga Glamping Ranch

We had such a great time at our farewell to summer trip up to Bear Lake on the border of Utah and Idaho.  We loved doing a little camping, or should I say glamping at Bear Lake’s Conestoga Ranch Glamping Resort.  Bear Lake is such a gem, and has the most gorgeous views!  If you haven’t been there, I’d strongly recommend it!  It is one of our favorite places to go as a family!

The first night of our stay, we stayed in one of the grand tents (the Olympus Tent) at Conestoga Ranch.  It had two sets of bunkbeds, and two twin beds and a queen sized bed!  The tents really are so amazing.  You definitely get a feel for camping, but also get a the experience of a Resort.  The grand tents feel large inside, and have an area for the bunk beds, and an area for the large bed, and a full bathroom!  The second night we stayed in one of their unique covered wagons, and the kids absolutely loved it!  It was a dream come true for them!   I’ll be sure to list everything you need to go before you go Glamping at Conestoga Ranch below!

House made BBQ Pork Chops from Campfire Grill Bear Lake Conestoga Ranch

We just returned from a lovely end of summer stay up at Bear Lake at the new Conestoga Ranch Glamping resort.  One of the best part about staying at the Ranch is the no-fuss packing.  It makes it so easy to pack a few things and head out Glamping since everything is there for you, including an amazing restaurant on-site!

Campfire Grill Restaurant is such a great addition to the Bear Lake Dining Scene.  The food is sophisticated and tasty, and you can dine at the restaurant even if you aren’t staying at the Ranch.

The open air restaurant makes it such a fun location to dine at, with a great view of the Lake, and a nice breeze with a hint of campfire in the air.

Bear Lake Restaurant Breakfast Campfire Grill

The first morning we spent at Conestoga Ranch Glamping Resort, we headed down the hill from our grand tent to have some breakfast at Campfire Grill.  The Food was so amazing, we got a variety of items, and my family ate every bit!  It was not only beautiful and well presented, but so flavorful, unique, and fresh.  The homemade granola in the yogurt parfait was amazing!  We also tried the fresh fruit plate, the breakfast hash scramble, the pulled pork biscuits with gravy, fresh orange juice, and berry pancakes. We all loved it!

We worked up an appetite at the lake, and we ordered some really great items off of their dinner menu.
